One of my top go-to spots in Marina. I've frequented this place numerous times since it opened a few years ago. It follows a Chipotle-style delivery model, but in my opinion, offers a much healthier choice. I usually opt for the plated option with chicken shawarma on a bed of greens, and the fresh flavors are fantastic--you get to control the choices. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, and they provide both indoor and outdoor seating. For those interested in a cocktail, they have a side room with a speakeasy vibe. I highly recommend this place for dine-in or take-out.

The Dametra crew don't disappoint ! ... I've been a long time super fan of the owners of Dametra and their other ventures, TBH they work so incredibly hard it's pretty humbling !. anyhow, we never had reason to venture to their Marina location but with the storms knocking out most of the area it was time. A needed trip the new Trader Joe's and we figured a perfect excuse to get a Giro fix.. It's felt markably bigger than the Mundas location, staff were great, food fresh and tasty.. Nothing to say here except it checked the boxes and was a very satisfying respite from the storm repairs. Highly recommended, congrats chaps, that locations gonna be a goldmine for you !

Demetras is always a must-visit everyone I return to my hometown. If the owners see this, I would love it if they returned to the old tzatziki recipe! The current one, at least as of November 16, shockingly lacked flavor.

I'm not sure how I have not reviewed Dametra yet as it has become one of my favorite restaurants. Demetri's Greek salad dressing is the most amazing dressing I've ever had. The pairing of the feta with the salty and spicy dressing is absolutely phenomenal. I love the chicken kebabs and Gyros. The hummus is flavorful and perfectly presented. Overall, the ambience of the restaurant is quiet and soothing, I love going in sitting down and eating dinner. It's one of my favorite places to go in Marina. The staff is always friendly and happy to suggest food options.

We were on a business trip. Staying near by.... When we arrived it was already busy with Happy Hour. We were immediately seated in the back called The General (the bar in back of the restaurant). Our server (possible owner), got our drinks, was cheerful and provided information about our food. I ordered the appetizer sampler and my friend ordered falafel fries. All the food was fresh and flavorful. The debate was on all the TVs, and plus it was Happy Hour so the place was loud and everyone was having a good time. Towards the end of our dinner, the owner shared a little about himself and his restaurant. It is obvious he is very proud, and cares about the quality which is produced at his restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place! The staff, the quality of the food and vibe were perfect. We would definitely return, what a great time!!

We were visiting Marina and just by chance we stopped in to Dametra. What an amazing treat! Everyone behind the counter is amazing!! Had a chance to chat with the owner - amazing person. Loves his family and his customers. Food is delicious. Explodes in your mouth with flavors!!! 5 stars all the way!

We went to Demetra's in Marina for the first time last week,and were most impressed by the fast,courteous service and the healthful,great tasting Mediterranean food. This will be our go to when in the area and hunger for Middle Eastern fare!
